Lyophilized peptides have a shelf life of 2+ years when stored properly at -20°C. Reconstituted peptides should be used within 4-6 weeks when refrigerated. Each product includes a lot-specific expiration date.
Use bacteriostatic water (BAC water) for reconstitution. Slowly inject the water down the side of the vial, allowing it to gently dissolve the peptide. Never shake vigorously. Detailed instructions are included with your order.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It prevents bacterial growth and allows reconstituted peptides to remain stable for 4-6 weeks when refrigerated.
